My family of four stayed for two nights and wish we had stayed longer. It was the highlight of our 10 day trip through France. The apartment is comfortable with plenty of sleeping space, eating space, and a large yard equipped with table tennis and badminton (offered up by Nicolas). We were greeted with homemade jam and a local Auvergne beer in the fridge. the kids loved spending time with the chickens in the yard and taking morning walks in the quaint roads around the gite. I was able to request towels and a hair dryer. We picked up food in the local town of Billom (about an 8 minute drive) and cooked in the kitchen for our dinners: all pots, pans, plates, etc. are provided. Very gracious hosts and the additional perk is that we were able to see every star in the sky at night! »
